What is a Virtual Assistant?

A virtual assistant is a freelancer who works in her own home office providing various office solutions. Virtual assistants can be a mom, a college student, a retired individual or anyone who has his or her own home office equipped with a computer and internet connection. Virtual assistants carry out tasks remotely through the use of the internet. A virtual assistant can carry out tasks from data entry to project management tasks.
